Variety reported that The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Starring Bad Bunny won outstanding variety special (live). The production also received awards for music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design, technical direction and camerawork, and directing.

The Associated Press independently confirmed both the performer’s first career Emmy and the production’s seven-award total. The distinction matters: the seven trophies recognize the show and its creative and technical work, rather than seven individual wins for Bad Bunny.

The awards came before the main primetime ceremony scheduled for September 14, 2026. AP reported that the opening ceremonies take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, with further awards to be presented on September 6.
