Critics Choice Association Launches Inaugural Creator Awards for 2027, Honoring Podcasts, Micro-Dramas and Digital Stars

The Critics Choice Association has announced its first Critics Choice Creator Awards, a new program recognizing work made for digital platforms.

The awards will cover podcasts and scripted, unscripted, documentary, informational, lifestyle, sports and game series. Nominees are scheduled to be announced on March 18, 2027, and the winners on April 15, 2027.

The initiative extends the organization’s awards activity into creator-led formats that sit outside its established film and television programs.
