The Austrian filmmaker’s third feature was selected unanimously by a jury chaired by two-time Academy Award nominee Emily Watson, according to Variety.
The Sarajevo honor extends the film’s awards run after it also won in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival.
The Heart of Sarajevo is the festival’s principal award. The latest result places “Everytime” among the year’s notable international festival titles as it continues its route through the global film circuit.
