The Mindy Kaling-created show launched in June and ran for nine episodes. Kaling served as an executive producer alongside showrunner Charlie Grandy and 3 Arts Entertainment’s Howard Klein.
Warner Bros. Television, which produces the series, plans to seek another outlet for the show, according to the report. Hulu has not moved forward with a second-season order.
The decision ends the series’ initial run on Hulu while leaving open the possibility that it could continue elsewhere.
