Imax reported stronger second-quarter results for the three months ending in June 2026, with revenue rising 12% from a year earlier to $102.8 million.

Net income increased 30% to $15.9 million, while adjusted earnings per share reached 43 cents, a 65% year-on-year improvement, according to figures reported by Variety on July 23, 2026.

The entertainment trade publication said releases including “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” and “Michael” helped lift the large-format cinema company’s performance during the quarter.

Imax’s chief executive also pointed to Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” as an important upcoming release for the company, describing the film as a transformational event in comments reported by Variety.
