Lithuania has selected Andrius Blaževičius’ “How to Divorce During the War” as the country’s submission for the Academy Award for best international feature film, according to Variety.

The selection puts Blaževičius’ third feature into the international awards race. The film previously won the directing award in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition at the Sundance Film Festival.

Variety also reported that Zeitgeist Films, in association with Kino Lorber, acquired the film for theatrical distribution in the United States. Lithuania’s submission is an entry into the Academy’s selection process and does not by itself guarantee a nomination.
