Nearly 30 African countries have sent visitors to Ethiopia’s MESOB one-stop public service platform to learn from the country’s approach, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs official said on August 12, 2026.

MESOB combines digital and in-person access to services from multiple federal and regional government agencies at a single platform. Zerihun Abebe, the ministry’s director-general for African affairs, described the visits as an effort to share Ethiopia’s experience with other African countries.

The announcement, carried by the Ethiopian News Agency through AllAfrica, did not name the visiting countries or specify the dates and outcomes of individual visits.
