Nick Mohammed will play the host in The Traitors – Acts of Betrayal, a stage adaptation scheduled to begin performances at London’s Gillian Lynne Theatre in May 2027. The production will use five versions of the story, each starting from the same situation but following a different set of outcomes. On Saturdays, audiences will choose who becomes a traitor, determining which version the actors perform. Each play is designed to work as a standalone drama, allowing a single visit to deliver a complete story.
John Finnemore has written the plays, with Robert Hastie directing. Studio Lambert, which makes the UK television programme, and Neal Street Productions are producing the adaptation. The format brings the television contest’s central questions of trust and deception into a live performance whose outcome can vary between visits.
