Rod Stewart has cancelled his forthcoming farewell-tour performances after undergoing a successful coronary stent procedure, according to a report published on August 12, 2026.

The 81-year-old singer’s representatives said he would need four weeks to recover. Stewart told fans he was already feeling better and expected to return to the stage, while apologising for the cancelled shows.

The announcement followed the late cancellation of an Ohio performance on August 9. His remaining schedule had included a six-show Las Vegas residency and other dates in the United States and Mexico as part of the One Last Time tour, which began in 2024.

Stewart had also cancelled performances on medical advice in June. Later that month, he paused a Utah concert and used oxygen after nearly fainting, The Guardian reported.

No revised dates were announced in the source report.
