South Korean film and content studio Showbox has launched Showbite, a new label focused on short-form drama for international markets.
The company plans to begin releasing original productions in September 2026. Its announced slate spans romance, comedy, revenge stories, action thrillers, period drama, fantasy, mystery and horror.
Among the romance projects is “Taste of You,” described as an enemies-to-lovers story set in the food industry. The launch expands Showbox’s business into the growing market for serialized, mobile-friendly dramas built around short episodes.
