Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” has surpassed $700 million in worldwide ticket sales after 12 days in cinemas, becoming the fourth-highest-grossing film of 2026.
The Greek epic had earned $727.9 million globally by Wednesday, July 29, according to figures reported by Variety. That total included $320.5 million from the domestic market and $407.4 million from international cinemas.
The rapid milestone places the film among the year’s biggest commercial releases less than two weeks into its theatrical run. International markets accounted for a majority of its revenue, while domestic sales represented about 44 percent of the worldwide total.
Its fourth-place ranking means three 2026 releases remained ahead of it at the global box office as of July 29. Continued cinema sales will determine whether the film moves higher in the annual standings.
