Al Hilal reach reported £68m agreement for West Ham winger Summerville
West Ham have reportedly accepted an offer worth about £68 million from Al Hilal for Netherlands winger Crysencio Summerville, with the transfer not yet officially completed.
West Ham United have reached an agreement with Al Hilal over the proposed sale of Netherlands winger Crysencio Summerville, according to reports published on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
Sky Sports News reported that the Saudi club’s offer is worth about £68 million (€80 million). The clubs had not announced a completed transfer at the time of publication, and the move remains subject to the remaining contractual and registration steps.
Roma had also pursued the 24-year-old. Sky reported that West Ham rejected a proposal worth £39 million (€46 million) from the Italian club on Monday, July 20, before accepting Al Hilal’s larger offer. Italian newspaper La Repubblica separately reported that Al Hilal had moved ahead of Roma in the race for the winger.
Summerville played 34 matches for West Ham in the 2025-26 season, scoring seven goals and providing five assists, according to Sky. He also represented the Netherlands at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, recording two goals and two assists in four appearances.
If completed on the reported terms, the transfer would rank among West Ham’s biggest sales and would continue Al Hilal’s investment in high-profile international players. Confirmation from the clubs, as well as final contract details, is still awaited.
