Anthony Joshua recovered from two early knockdowns to stop Kristian Prenga in the second round of their heavyweight contest in Jeddah on July 25, 2026.

Prenga dropped Joshua inside the opening 20 seconds and scored a second knockdown before the former champion turned the fight around. Joshua then secured the knockout in round two, a result reported by both Al Jazeera and Sky Sports.

The win keeps Joshua on course for a possible bout with British rival Tyson Fury later in 2026. No Fury fight should be treated as final, however, until the matchup is formally confirmed.
