Brisbane’s 2032 Olympic and Paralympic emblems appeared on the Games’ official YouTube channel on October 2, 2026, ahead of a community unveiling scheduled for October 5.
ABC News reported that a preview image for an emblem explanation video exposed the complete designs after organisers had spent the preceding week revealing pieces during a tour of Queensland. The image was subsequently removed.
The designs draw on the cockatoo, with the bird’s crest evoking a flame. A description accompanying the video linked the shape to Queensland and placed the bird’s eye at Brisbane.
Queensland Olympics Minister Tim Mander welcomed the designs becoming public in remarks reported on October 3. The community launch remains scheduled for October 5 in Brisbane, giving organisers another opportunity to explain the emblems after their early appearance online.
