Ethio Telecom reported revenue of 215.8 billion birr for Ethiopia’s concluded 2025/26 fiscal year as the state-owned operator’s subscriber base rose to 90.1 million.

Chief Executive Officer Frehiwot Tamiru presented the figures on July 23, 2026, during the company’s annual performance report, according to Fana Broadcasting Corporate. The report also put cumulative transactions through the Telebirr digital-payment platform above 9.13 trillion birr.

The figures bring together growth in the operator’s core telecommunications business and the expanding use of its mobile financial service. They provide a current snapshot of Ethio Telecom’s scale as Ethiopia continues to broaden network access and digital services.

The source reports did not provide a comparable prior-year revenue figure or independently audited financial statements. The reported performance figures are therefore attributed to the company.
