- Juventus have agreed to take Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario on loan, with the deal reported to include an option for a permanent transfer next year.

Juventus have agreed a deal with Tottenham Hotspur to sign goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario on an initial season-long loan, according to reports published on August 17, 2026.
The Guardian and Sky Sports both reported that the clubs had reached an agreement. The Guardian said the arrangement includes an option for Juventus to make the transfer permanent next year for £8.6 million.
Vicario, 29, joined Tottenham from Empoli in 2023 for a reported £17.2 million and has made nearly 120 appearances for the north London club. He has since lost the first-choice position to Antonin Kinsky under manager Roberto De Zerbi, while Tottenham have also added Martin Dubravka as goalkeeping cover.
Juventus turned to Vicario after cooling their interest in Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez. The move gives the Italy international an opportunity to return to Serie A after three seasons in England.
The reports described an agreement between the clubs; neither source cited a completed registration or formal unveiling as of August 17.
