- Liverpool completed the signing of France winger Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain for an initial £106 million, potentially rising to £123 million.

Liverpool completed the signing of France winger Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain on Monday, August 31, 2026, agreeing a five-year contract with the 23-year-old.
The transfer is worth an initial £106 million and could rise to £123 million with add-ons, according to reporting by The Guardian. Al Jazeera also reported the completed move, saying Liverpool were reinforcing their attack after Mohamed Salah’s departure.
Barcola, who turns 24 on September 2, said winning the Premier League was one of his biggest ambitions and indicated that Liverpool had been his preferred destination once the club’s interest became clear.
Liverpool had tracked the former Lyon player over several seasons. Completion of the deal was delayed while Paris Saint-Germain worked on additions to offset his departure.
The signing continues Liverpool’s emphasis on younger players under head coach Andoni Iraola. The club is also expected to retain Cody Gakpo after rejecting an £80 million offer from Manchester City, reducing the likelihood of another major attacking departure before the transfer deadline.
