PSG restored their advantage in the 62nd minute. Ousmane Dembélé played Doué into the right channel, and the forward finished past Bizot. The goal was initially ruled out for offside, but a video review showed Cash had played Doué onside and the decision was overturned.
Villa had opportunities to equalise. Warren Zaïre-Emery blocked an effort that threatened to give João Gomes a debut goal, while PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov stopped a strike from George Hemmings.
