Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Egypt international Omar Marmoush from Manchester City on an initial season-long loan, the clubs’ move was reported on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
The agreement includes an obligation for Tottenham to make the transfer permanent next year. Sky Sports reported the obligation at £60 million, while Al Jazeera described the guaranteed value as about $68 million.
Marmoush adds another attacking option to Tottenham’s squad after leaving Premier League rival Manchester City. The move also gives one of Egypt’s leading current players a new role in the English top flight. The permanent transfer remains subject to the terms of the loan agreement.
