- The proposed acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and other conditions.

Bending Spoons announced on September 10, 2026 that it had agreed to acquire collaboration software company Miro at an enterprise value of $1.355 billion. Including Miro’s net cash, the deal implies an equity value of about $1.79 billion, according to the buyer’s [announcement](https://investors.bendingspoons.com/newsroom/bending-spoons-agrees-to-acquire-miro).
The agreement covers all outstanding Miro shares. Certain shareholders will reinvest $295 million of their proceeds in newly issued Bending Spoons shares. Both boards approved the transaction, which requires regulatory clearance and other closing conditions. The companies will operate independently until completion.
Bending Spoons said Miro generates approximately $600 million in annual recurring revenue, nearly 90% from business and enterprise customers. It plans to invest in the platform’s performance and reliability after closing.
The agreement follows Bending Spoons’ acquisition of Airtable, completed the previous week. TechCrunch’s report on the Miro deal prompted this coverage; the transaction terms were checked against the company announcement.
