Netflix is closing two video-game studios as it reshapes its gaming operation, according to Variety.
The streaming company will shut Night School Studio, the developer of the horror game “Unhinged,” and Helsinki-based Moonloot. Night School joined Netflix in 2021, while Moonloot was founded in 2022.
The decision comes less than two months after the release of “Unhinged,” a title backed by filmmakers David Fincher and Zach Cregger. The closures mark a further change in Netflix’s approach to developing games under its own studios.
