A cyberattack affecting Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands airports exposed data linked to about 8.7 million customers, according to Manchester Airports Group, which operates the three hubs.
The compromised information included email addresses, phone numbers, vehicle registration numbers and postcodes. The affected records came from car-park, lounge and fast-track bookings, as well as sign-ups for airport Wi-Fi.
Manchester Airports Group said passenger safety was not affected. The incident was reported on August 27, 2026.
